I've nothing against Paul, but I think that the movement that he represents needs to start thinking about a new leader. I like statesmen with age and experience behind them, but I think that your late 70s is getting on a bit to be starting a Presidential campaign.

Yes, I have to admit that I find the article arguing that one space after a full stop is correct pretty persuasive, not least of all because it refers to so many sources and because the rationale makes sense. I've never seen a modern style manual argue for a double space after any punctuation mark. ...

I've always used one space after a full stop. Never heard of using two. That said, I learned to type on an electric typewriter, then a computer, both of which render writing perfectly legible with one space.
