I'm glad we settled that. I'll do what I do, and you do what you do.

The piping up for info isn't annoying, but the piping up to say "why are you two going at it? you ruin everyone's good time" is (even to me who it isn't directed at). If I can stay out of threads that I find boring, then other's can too. I'm curious what the motivation to pipe up once in a...

Maybe my understanding of this forum is wrong then. I imagined that if someone shoots in to state an opinion that they want to participate in the discussion. Otherwise it's just that annoying thing that people do here where they enter threads just to complain about the tone in a thread they aren't a...

Are you saying that you don't debate over politics here or is that sarcastic (honest question)? It seems like one style is more acceptable in this forum because people just want to express their opinion without any discussion over it. Am I wrong in my assessment here? I can't say much to your feelin...

It's easy to distrust something about an article. It's a debate to articulate it. ETA: Here's what this lady said about this Haiti resolution: I rise to support this resolution, which expresses the condolences of the House of Representatives with the people of Haiti following last week’s devastati...

So, you can hold their feet to the fire as a registered Democrat? Your answer is not enlightening because it doesn't state what you want to do, but infers what might be your motivation.

I wouldn't call him racist, but 'no' on all of those resolutions.... that's just douchey, not racist.

It's laughable that a Republican sees this decision as a good thing. The party of the people, my dick... we should gun down the entire government and start over. I don't care what CIA listener is reading this.

Time to get CiGNA tattooed to my forehead.

Maybe he has some point to prove about the Democrats and felt he could make it more effectively registered as one?

I'm a Giants fan and they were embarrassingly defeated by the Vikings today; apparently, they forgot how to play football this week and last. I'm a NY fan mostly with football, so I am going to root for the Jets in the playoffs. Let's go Jets. Win and they're in... they walloped the Bengals 37-0 hol...

I think Obama's desire for bipartisanship is genuine... misled, but genuine. By year two if he isn't laying down the law with these Republicans, it's going to define his presidency as weak like Carter's.

At least they are eliminating the practice of dropping people when they get sick or imposing limits to coverage.

I thought paying big money to big business in return for lousy coverage and low quality services was the American way?

Zeus is god of weather (lightning) usually equated with Jupiter (and Thor by virtue of the lightning), but Zeus and Odin are both the gods of suppliants (travelers). Interesting.

Odd that it's okay to hint bash one site and yet another is requested to be left alone. I'm not saying "stop," just find it odd. I was thrown off my campus radio station for some that might have been offensive. "Well, we feel that if people did get offended, they would and you should ...
