Thanks again to everyone who was able to participate. We've achieved enough participants in the survey portion that we are ready to move on to the interview portion. At least one of the posters from Board77 has been selected for the interview portion of my study. One of my research assistants will b...

aninkling, Thank you for taking the survey! I understand and appreciate your difficulties with the last question. All, I expect the survey data collection portion to complete within the next few weeks. Some of you may be contacted for interviews shortly thereafter. It's a randomized process, so I do...

Thank you both! I won't be able to use data from those who identify themselves as not in the US, but like I said that may change in the future. Also, I share your frustration wtih the repetitiveness. There is a reason for it, but that doesn't make it any less frustrating.

Hi Jude! I would love input from anyone everywhere, but at this point I only have approval from my Institutional Review Board to elicit participation from people in the United States. (That may change in the future) MariaHobbit, Thank you again! No answers to the survey are "wrong" per se ...

I'm overseeing a multi-disciplinary research study with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga's Philosophy and Social Psychology departments, and I need participants from the United States....

Oh it's definitely a boy. We did a 3D ultrasound, and he was not shy.

As for the extended family, they're very excited for us. We'll have plenty of much-needed support come October. :)

And remember, you can always tell a quote miner by the following telltale signs:

1. Doesn't list sources

The real question is, did Heather?
