I don't agree with how they define "conservative" but you get what they mean. Those who are stronger are more likely to be opposed to wealth redistribution, those who are weaker are more likely to support wealth redistribution. UK Daily Mail - Men who are physically strong are more likely...

Yeah, but each book has a complete story arc (if that's the right word). A plot that resolves by the end of the book. I read a freebie Kindle book from Amazon the other day that just stopped. In the middle. :x With only one minor plot point resolved. :rage: And then you were expected to pay $4.99 f...

Nah, just the beginning of an empty weekend. As SJ says, each book is an entirely self-contained story. It's not a soap opera series, where each book leads into the next. So far there's been only two cliffhanger endings. With the exception of those two books (#12 and #13) the rest can be enjoyed en...

Hmmm... based on your review maybe I should wait until the whole series is out, and then read them all back to back? You will have a LONG wait. He's planning a total of 25 books to the series.....and he is currently working on #15. Don't be worried about reading a long series and that it might drag...

I've been reading Gardens Of The Moon which is the first book of this series, and I have to say that it is intriguing, yet I have trouble keeping the characters envisioned in my head. I'm nearly done with this book, and I have Deadhouse Gates and House of Chains in my possession. I'm just on the ed...

They are fantasy. Set in Todays Chicago, but in a world where Vampires and Creepy crawlys are real.
Our hero Harry, is a Wizard / paranormal investigator. And he's really good at pissing off everything from fallen angels to Mab, queen of air and darkness...

I just got done reading the latest greatest Dresden novel, Cold Days. Was a fantastic book. I won't drop any spoilers, but the end was pretty twisted. If you havn't tried these book I highly recommend you give them a shot. I've gotten quite a few side splitting laughs, and tense moments from them. :)

Based on Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth books, this series is done by the same people that did Hercules and Xena, which at least had enough quality to stick around a while. I have no doubt there is no way this series can capture all of the books (there are at least 10), but as they drop in quality...

Lol! The Watcher . You're right, us toothless tigers just don't have quite the same bite that we used to - we're getting kind of jaded! I still email Shadowjack occasionally and am in touch with Snowdog as well, so I might be able to convince them to come back! Just noticed that I look kind of spar...
