I used to go to a couple of summer camps where you would have to check the bathrooms before you used them. And the swimming pools. And the rooms. Just everywhere, really. Snakes are sneaky little things.

I can't imagine swimming in a public pool I couldn't see the bottom of! A lake or pond, maybe, because that's kind of natural and most lakes or ponds don't cater to as many people as pools do.
