Hi everyone It feels strange to be back. I mainly want to apologise – to you, for using this site as an outlet and to everyone else in my life, for being someone else for so long. About 4 years ago, something happened in my life. Something formative. Jonny died. I don't know the direct circumstances...

It's not very... Moist! The UK cover is full of the sizzle of Moist sausages. This one sort of trundles along...

Here, it's very windy and very wet, but nothing silly. Yesterday (Sunday) a blizzard in Michigan cancelled the US premiere of one of my pieces though. :rage:

Well worth it, Frelga. A definite return to form!
In related news, I just saw 'Going Postal' for the first time (well, the second half). Very enjoyable adaptation! Loved David Suchet as Gilt, and a little cameo from himself at the end! Did they do 'Making Money' too?

As someone who thought Snuff was ok at best, and Unseen Academicals really up and down, I absolutely adored Raising Steam. Then, I'm a fan of the Moist von Lipwig arc, and also a fan of trains and dwarves, so that might have had something to do it.

We had winter there for a few days, lit the fire and had the heating on and scarves and layers and hot chocolate and all sorts. Summer seems to have decided it forgot something and come back to look for it though. Back to short and flip flops!

I filled it in (also Irish, not US, so also feel free to ignore), but my answers were somewhat complicated because I'm a professional churchgoer who usually doesn't believe in God...

Eh, not more than 28 degrees celsius. But then I'm a pale ginger Irishman who's used to a nice balmy 17.

Hmmm... It's been a while since I read it, but I seem to recall this line (or something like it) being said in the Silmarillion, at the fifth battle. Can't for the life of me remember the names of any characters from the Silmarillion though... (The Gandalf quote that I asked, by the way, was said in...

It's too hot! I cannot DEAL with this heat! Worst part of it is that I live with 7 geckos, all of whom are artificially heated, so there're 4 heaters on in the house 24/7 too! And I can't go in the garden because the neighbours are doing extremely loud construction work, and I'd sizzle like a sausag...

It is not in Helm's Deep! It is, however, said by Aragorn.

Bonus point for location, but I believe it is now Jude's turn.

Neither by Théoden, nor quite in Rohan is it said, but geographically I think you're coming a bit closer. (If I've got my middle earth geography straight...)

It is not said by Pippin, nor is it said in Minas Tirith.

It's not Gimli, but it is referring to the White Rider. (I was hoping you'd initially think it was referring to the One Ring...)

It's been a while since I've read the books, so I can't *quite* remember who fought who at what point, hence the lack of certainty about orcs/Uruks.

Aragorn to Gimli, regarding orcs fighting amongst themselves! Or possibly Orcs fighting with Uruk Hai?

A tricksy one indeed, precious, making us think that this quote's referring to Gollum when it's not. ;)

Pretty sure Jude's right...

I might point out that the shooting of prostitutes aspect of GTA is, and always has been, an optional one, not highlighted in the game. You do not get points or achievements, it is not a side quest, you are at no point guided towards it. In my favourite installment in the series, chinatown wars, I a...
