If anything was going to pull me out of my occasional lurking... Congratulations on getting married! I'm sorry you're not going to be able to carry out your plans for a Gathering wedding. I hope your financial situation sorts itself out so you can have the fabulous ceremony you're dreaming of. But f...

Yeah, well didn't see it before I edited. ;) I wonder where everyone else is... seems a bit quiet... i was hoping Gili's post would wake everyone up a little. I want to write a post, but i'm not sure what's going to happen next, and i don't want to wi...

Alright I guess you can ignore what I said on yahoo. Cough Yes, anyway there's my post. There are several things I should say about it: 1) I'm not entirely happy with it. I wrote the last part of the ending before the Gathering and I'm not so happy with the pacing and the way it fits in with the res...

Giliath had thrown an arm up over her face to shield her eyes when the smoke had suddenly rushed up between her and the two sisters. The barrier had heaved itself out of the ground and raced towards the sky faster than an arrow from the string. It twisted and spun as it boomed with a great rumbling ...

Thanks Leafy. I've gotten the first part of my post done and the whole thing should be done by the latest on Monday. I have to cram in as many artistic endeavours as possible before I start my new course and I'm afraid the post is competing with a painting a sculpture and a lot of reading, but...

 Bree. You're right and I'm sorry for my part. I haven't been able to really get into these boards, but I'm going to try and get more involved. I am writing I post right now. I outlined it this morning, but got a little distracted by the news from London. I'm going to start writing it in earnes...

It's a relief to here that everyone's alright.

Despite the fact their out of town thanks for reporting on satch and Leafy Pandora I haven't been able to raise them.

I don't even know what to say when something like this happens. Just horrifying. Should have been a good day for London.

You look absolutely, positively GORGEOUS!! (and if there was another way to stress that last word I would have used it) Of course you were gorgeous when I first met you too and no matter how many camera tricks you say you used you have to have something to work with! Stunning. Amazing job los...

The adventures of a brave young lad and some mice. Sounds good to me! :D And your basing it on real history? So, are you thinking of some sort of fantastic historical fiction or just working real history into the story? How was your free weekend besides the new tattoo? Sounds pretty cool to me and I...

I have to agree that being honest with your parents at this point is a good idea, especially sine you live with them. Is there reluctance to see you go just based on the fact that they believe you do not have a problem? If you think AA is going to be good for you and ultimately your kids I think you...

One week, that's great Lily! :D I hope you'll listen to the others in this thread and go to AA for some real life support. I don't think anyone can make you go if you don't want to (learned that from my brief stint in the therapy) but I think having a support group face to face is an excellent idea....

Five days, good going Lily! I'm sorry your parents haven't been as supportive as you would like. I'm glad that it hasn't discouraged you though. Holbytla is right about the exercise- you've got to make the time to do it. For me that meant waking up a half hour earlier to get in some biking. At first...

Number on it's way Lily. :)

You might want to try your parents again. In the least can you get them to move the alcohol somewhere in the house away from you? As in not in a shared fridge for example?

Hey sweetheart. I'm sorry I haven't been around lately especially if you were in need of support. Well, I'm throwing myself in and will check this thread everyday if no other. You can always e-mail me whenever you need it and if you want my telephone number I'll give that to you as well. First Anth ...

Yup Bree I have a year to finish, but I want to get it done nice and quickly. It's not proving to be very hard so I should be able to finish in about a month at the rate I'm going. Thanks for the cheering section btw. :D My poor Leafy! That's horrible. Remember nothings more important then keeping y...

Yes, Gili , I believe you are certifiably insane. Not for taking a full course load in a month, I fully respect that and think you've got guts--You're just nuts because you are posting in this thread. :) :LMAO: Not a full course load! Good lord nobody's nuts enough for that! One full credit course ...

That's quite odd Leafy. I wouldn't worry just yet though. I'm sure there's a perfectly logical explanation, usually is. Even if it comes down to the fact that your Mum forgot about parking the car in the community hall lot that doesn't mean she's developing Alzheimer's. (My paternal grandmother died...
