Well, the repetitive questions did make me pay more attention. :) Lots of double negatives in there... it would have been easy to answer things inconsistently, simply because one wasn't paying close enough attention.

Hey, Wolfie!

I had a hard time with one or two of the questions there at the end... sometimes you need a bit more grey shading than "always" and "never". :) However, I did my best.

Hope it helps!

Hate to be a wet blanket, but there are some words that die naturally and for good reason. The language should always evolve. Lest we be fain speaking confusedly ever and anon. Says the man whose current rank is "MMffm mmfmm mmmfmmm". Yeah, hey, THAT'S a marvel of communication, right the...

Looks good from here. :)

Except that word "muliebrity" kinda looks like it has "mule" in it, especially with the horsey pic underneath.

Hmmmmm.

Sooo... can someone teach me to save this gif at this location? (Okay, so maybe I am an idiot, and this should be obvious...) lol someone doesn't have much practice saving internet porn to their computer. I mean, uh, er... :suspicious: Apparently not. :P But seriously, if Holby's response isn't wha...

Yippeee!!! Thank you, Holby. You rock! :horse: But I do have a question. :) The address for the gif file (it was a gif! I'm NOT a TOTAL idiot!!) is at board77.net. If that board goes away (not sure what's in store for that location), will the gif go away, too? (I'm thinking it might.) Sooo... can so...

(I should know this stuff, I'm SOOO embarrassing myself) file of a running horse as my avatar for forever, and I don't remember how I had it linked. I don't remember where it is! I think hal gave it to me, a long ti...

This season is all about second chances. It's the time of year when we should try to like all the people we actually hate, and try to see if we can't do that for the rest of the year. It's the season when we are supposed to forgive people for hurting us, forget that they act like jackasses, let sli...

I'm not sure that I agree it was the only morally correct intervention. It does, however, seem to me to be the most sensible one.

There are usually ways in which neighbors can prevent crime without resorting to direct, cop-like intervention. C_G, this comment by jadeval closely echoes something that vison and I have also implied: that the action of calling 911 WAS an intervention on the neighbor's behalf, and an appropriate o...

Well, I do understand your point, C_G. Your question is would it be morally okay for the guy to intervene on behalf of his neighbor if the perps were not hurt? Right? I just think that the appropriate level of intervention was for the man to call 911, which he did. If he were to have gone out there ...

C_G, did you mean to post the exact same thing twice? Maybe to emphasize that you had addressed all of this, before? Here's the part that I was responding to: So now we're conflating two issues. The first issue is the killing of a burglar. The second issue is intervening on behealf of the neighbor. ...
