According to Mr Google: Simply place the pizza on a plate, put it in the microwave and add a cup or glass of water. cook it on high for 30 seconds (or more depending on your microwave) and it will be cooked to perfection. The cup of water helps the base stay crispy, still allowing the cheese to melt...

My kids swear by the glass of water hack. Just put a glass of water in the microwave along with the pizza. Apparently it works, but I've never tried it myself.

Thats not Jen from "The IT Crowd". Different actress. She does have a role in "After Life" though, Ricky Gervais' superb miniseries. I can highly recommend if you haven't seen it. Gervais is superb as a grieving widower who is struggling with suicidal thoughts. Its touching and f...

I've decided to take my usual approach and wait till someone actually offers me a job before I worry about it :)

If you take this new job, would it significantly cut into your ability to do theatre work? I don't know. That's part of the issue Three questions come to mind: - does your current job give you zero job satisfaction, or negative job satisfaction? Meaning, are you just kinda bored and indifferent, or...

I'm trying to decide what my next move should be. My current job is coasting along and unlikely to go anywhere. It gives me complete freedom which I use (and abuse) to the full. It allows me to indulge my passion for Theater, and I'm currently directing the Irish Amateur Premier of "The Phantom...

I'm still watching. Enjoying it, but not obsessively. I do find it more entertaining than House of the Dragon.

And I say this as someone with hundreds of "friends" I barely know, but when you're in theatre, you can't refuse to friend people you were in a show with. Over time it builds up...

This could be a clever use of the Ahsoka Tano approach. Dave Filoni knew that any new flawless "Young Jedi" was gonna be hated by the fans, so he deliberately gave her huge character flaws in the early episodes so he could control what the fans disliked, then fixed those flaws slowly so pe...

The show is being review bombed in the same way as She-Hulk and Miss Marvel. That's why Amazon has suspended ratings. Most of them are racist or misogynist trolls. Not that there aren't valid complaints, but the vast majority are clickbaiters driving an algorithm. Sometimes technology sucks.

I enjoyed it as very pretty fanfiction with lots of hints and allusions to the Silmarillion. We even see carvings of Beren, Luthien and Huan, but not explained. Lots of easter eggs for the fans, but then some major changes also.
