Hobby - ah. OK. Just btw, I would happy if you would lead this. I would also be happy with Cerin or Frelga or anyone who steps forward.

laureanna - thanks for fixing permissions. The Charter committee can stay permitted for the time being because we still have two Handbooks to work on.

I goofed. I thought we were complete with TED but laureanna says we need an 11th. Obviously I haven't grasped the details of the Charter provision. Where did I go wrong? Is it 5 + 5 + Loremaster? Does this mean we need either another person supporting the call for a revote, or another Loremaster, or just another volunteer? Can the Loremaster be one of those supporting the call for a revote?

Thanks, Ax.

Cerin, we need another volunteer. The first five already included a Loremaster. But we still need to match that five plus one more so that the five who asked for the vote are not the majority on the committee.

Well, I tried once and didn't get far - and Cerin is doing great here - I'm voting for Cerin, if she wants to take up the task! :)

But thanks, Jny and Voronwe. :)

(Just a question: does it make a difference whether you're just on the committee or on the committee as part of the five people who asked for the re-vote - because I don't know right now what I am. :blackeye )

Hobby, you are one of the five who supported the call for a re-vote. :)

I don't want to lead the hearing for the reasons I mentioned earlier, and because I'm not sure I would have the kind of time I would need to move things along quickly. I do not have the kind of command of the overview of what is needed, such as Jnyusa and Voronwe have demonstrated, with the result that I think the process would be slower than we're used to under their capable leadership.

However, if everyone else is as reluctant as I and no one else steps forward by the time we get our last volunteer, then I'll be happy to lead the committee IF, Jnyusa, IF I can PM you for advice (and that might involve alot of PMs). :)

Is it time to lock this? Or do we leave it open for comments to the committee?

Thank you, Ax. :)

I would say leave the thread open and re-title it to indicate it is the discussion thread for the jury room proceeding.

Either Ethel or a Ranger would need to do that. Perhaps we should start a new thread to be clear that discussion should focus on the proceedings.

Yes, that would work as well. But in that case, I think you would still have to corral a Ranger to lock this thread (so that no one inadvertently posted their comments here, since the title also refers to that subject). :)

Locked at Ax's request - subject to Ethel not disagreeing! ;)
(I'll PM her. :) )

Edit: Ethel said no problem! :)
