Does anyone else want to help? This is not a big-deal tense election, obviously, with just one candidate. There isn't even a quorum requirement!

I think this does give us an opportunity to start Eruname off in office with a nice endorsement from the membership. Wiith maybe a little teasing, as Lidless is entangled with this now. . . .

The election starts September 3rd. I'd like to be able to post a draft ballot this week. And surely, surely, for Eru's sake, we're not going to leave that to Lidless? We're b77ers—we're kinder than that. . . .

Do we need a ballot since voting is by PM? Can't we just write:

I vote for Eruname for Mayor

Or some such?

I personally don't see why we have to have just one option simply because there's just one candidate.

We could have a string of options: "I vote for Eru because. . . ." with a series of different reasons.

The result is that Eru is elected, but we all might learn something.

Or . . . not.
