Can you see the Forum Management section and not post in it? We all had talked about making everything open and non-secretive, so I've changed all the statuses. You all (except those who are only here for the social aspect of this board) should be able to only read it. Let me know if what I've done is right. Thanks. :)

Breogán , we are all here for the social aspect of the board :LMAO:

But seriously, its because when we set it up it was as a refuge during the INNYgate crisis. We decided to bring in a new bunch of folks, like you, who would add a more sociable atmosphere.

It's like when you are breeding guinea pigs. To get the male all loved up, you have others in the cage besides the intended breedee. So you see, ou are are other guninea pig that helps us get all hot and sweaty in the hay and toilet rolls.

Hope that helps

Is there any real reason why the more sociable members can't see the Forum Management bit? I confess, I haven't read everything in recent detail, but it looks boringly inoffensive and unrelated to anything TORCish to me. :scratch

One does not simply walk into the realm of Tolkien languages. Their grammar is guarded by more than just rules. There is complexity there that does not sleep. And the linguistic community is ever watchful. It is a troublesome field. Riddled with reconstruction theories and hypothetical forms and insignificant attested corpus. Not with ten thousand linguists could you do this. It is folly!...
but then
... certainty of insanity, small chance of success.

What are we waiting for?

Wouldn't the next question be, why can't the "social" members become part of the rest of the boards? That's why I just kept it clean and dry and didn't bother changing the settings on those who only came here to have fun.

I guess we could put this up to a vote.
