Just taking a general feeling poll to see if there is an overwhelming vote one way or another.

Fixer, since fisssh asked you not to put this up after you had, do you want me to lock it?

This doesn't really ask the right question, Fixer.

A mock thread belongs in whatever forum is being mocked.

Please. Please. Please.

Can we just see those words "Mock Threads" and think to ourselves, "Jeez, why not just put them in the Turf?"

Why is that so hard?

I'm serious. We've had ENOUGH of this arguing and arguing and arguing.

Sometimes it's better to just give over. Let go.

Maybe you're right. But will it matter in a hundred years?

vison, I'm only pointing out that if it's a mock thread, it belongs wherever it is mocking because then it won't exactly be a mock thread.

For all I care you can put them in the mock forum. I'm not trying to defend a particular thread. I have let it go. I'm only answering the question, no arguments from me.

Well from the poll it looks like 100% of people so far think that mock threads should be kept in Turf.

I've stayed out of much of the personal debate going on, but I do feel that mock threads should remain in Turf. There's already been so much discussion on this, though, that anything I say will be redundant...and frankly, I'm just sick and tired of all the arguing. I think TED said it best, "I have let it go." I think the rest of us should too. :)

Well, I voted for them to be in The Turf, but I think that the question is probably too vague. For example, if you asked me, "What should happen if someone starts a mock thread in another forum?" I would likely say, "Nothing."

Mock threads will probably crop up everywhere. Mock dispute threads will likely crop up in a dispute forum. Serious threads crop up in Turf. Should we get bent out of shape about that?

If I'm not interested in reading or participating in either one, I simply don't read it.

Lali

I don't think Mock Polls should be put in the Business Room. Please let me lock this one.
