I'm with TED in that I don't really care...but I'll say that if it's a choice between leaving Business where it is and having sticky threads posted every time there's discussion of a change or a vote....well, I'll take leaving Business here. Scrolling is not a difficult thing.

I think you have made your case hal.

.
.

I would very much like the Business forum to stay where it is now. It is not hurting anyone where it is. Please leave it there.

I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map, And knew that somehow I could find my way back; Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too - So I stayed in the darkness with you

I think the Business forum should stay at the top for the convienience of the Rangers. Leaving one buisness type forum at the top isn't as distracting as the previous layout.

It's not hurting anything hal, drop it please.

So, unless there's any major objections by the weekend, I'll go ahead and do these:
  • * Move "Movies and Music" and "Literary Ranbles" into the "Round Table" Category
    * Remove the "Dicisne Hoc Opus Artem est" Category
    * Move the threads from the Archive Forum into "Threads of Historical Interest"
    * Move the "Threads of Historical Interest" to Board Management
In fact, if theres no objections, I think all the fora in "Outside" could be put in "Board Management" and that Category deleted.

Any feedback?
Based on the feedback received I'll go ahead and do the latter stuff, namely:

* Move the threads from the Archive Forum into "Threads of Historical Interest"
* Move the "Threads of Historical Interest" to Board Management
* Move all the fora in "Outside" into "Board Management" and delete the Outside Category.

There seem to be two options getting favour on the other issue:

Option 1:
* Move "Movies and Music" and "Literary Ranbles" into the "Round Table" Category
* Remove the "Dicisne Hoc Opus Artem est" Category

Option 2:
* Move "Made in Dale" and "There and Back Again" into the "Dicisne Hoc Opus Artem est" Category

Do we require a poll for this or should we just get a sort of straw poll based on comments in-thread?

I like option 2. One huge category doesn't look good, I think. Almost as if we just threw things into one place and didn't bother to sort them into categories.

I prefer Option 2 too though I'd be fine leaving it as is.

That should be Option 3. ;)

2 or 3 are fine with me.

I vote for 1. I don't think we need dicine... blah blah blah.

I say we let people weigh-in here.

I like option 2 (though I would be fine with the non-existant 3 too) as well. Big surprise, huh? ;)

In a power hungry move I'm gonna just go with the straw poll reaction here and implement Option 2!

about the historical forum, could we also have a historical forum for actual historical fact as in history?

I'd love something where I could post questions and my interests in certain areas of history.

Would this be possible or would I need to post any such threads in another forum?
