I just picked Dune up at a secondhand store...I can't remember whether I die or not...

"That Weird American", please?

About the actual substance...I still think it'd be fun to have post count rankings and pics...because it's a chance to have fun. I don't see it being beyond that, and if you don't find that stuff entertaining, I can see why you don't want to bother with it. But otherwise...it's a harmless form of entertainment, right?

Makes me think what that will cost me

Though I have already something in my mind.

You know, this capital A really looks unfamiliar to me. :Q Have to get used to it.

Don't do it , ar--Areanor!

All mythology and all folk tales unite in deploring the idea of incurring debt to fabulous beasts. And believe me, there is no beast more fabulous than our Griffy. :Wooper:

Ooooo I want a title too!

But I don't know what. :(

I leave it up to the imagination of others. :)

:cheers

You'll wish you hadn't done that ---

"Octopussy"
"squinks irt"
"has ten tacles"
"dances with tunas"
"to arms!"
"resident Calamari"
"sucks (with acetabuli)"
"comes to grips"

I swear I've read some of that as your titles on TORC, didn't I?

Post count icons are just clutter. I like knowing my post count, but I don't need pictures to accompany it.

Also want to keep people's join dates around - like collectibles, they will be worth something some day. Right now, everyone's is about the same. ;) But down the road (and I hope its a long road!), we'll be able to look at those dates and reminisce.

Post count titles are useless. We only had them on TORC if we couldn't afford a PM and once we got that, we gave ourselves titles. Since we can simply ask the admins here for one of those, I see no need in a title based on your post count.

(I might re-think that after we open the boards, though. The presence of a lot of people who don't post often and that I'm not real familiar with may turn me off individual titles. Though, if they're not here much in the first place, what's it matter whether they got their own title or one appointed to them? I dunno. For now, requested titles work for me.)

I say, that was BARSZCZ not borscht. And it had too much vinegar in it. You should drop by on Christmas sometime, and have some of the real stuff.

I know. The only way I'll have the courage to try it again is when I'm full of the Xmas spirit. Spiced rum.
