In a nod to one of the earliest conversations about sex on this board, we could always call it "Thinking of England"...

Posted on the "business" thread, as well.

I have something to add, but it's a bit difficult to express. I'm going to put on my grandmother costume for a few minutes. Bear with me.....reading glasses, grey hair in a bun, elastic stockings, comfort bra, elephant gonchies.....yup.....I think I'm suitably attired. Now, I shall pull this rocking chair up and lean forward and say:

Everyone who comes here, so far, knows everyone else, to a greater or lesser extent. Many of you have met in person, and many more will meet in person one day.

This is wonderful, and I hope I am one of those who meets Lidless and Jnyusa and Prim and Berhael, and everyone else. Sorry to miss so many names, but I don't want this post to be a thousand paragraphs long.

There are things I don't want to know about my friends. I don't really want to know what position they favour during sex, or how often they achieve orgasm, or what their ex-wife did that they hated.

NOW I KNOW I don't need to read the threads, as a matter of fact, from an initial indication of "C" I have gone back to "A" on the matter of the sex only forum.

I am just offering a bit of advice. Remember, once the words have been posted and read, they cannot be called back. They can be edited away, but maybe not as quick as you might like, on sober second thought.

It is fun to talk about sex. There is nothing shameful about good sex between loving partners. FAR, FAR FROM IT. It is fun to joke, to share funny stories, it is fun and rather exciting. But it is painfully easy to get caught up in it all and share something you might regret. The partner you are with now might not be your partner a year from now. You might wish with all your heart that you had kept some things private.

No one here is going to be judgemental, that seems obvious. But there is such a thing as too much information. The younger ones amongst us, those in their late teens and early twenties, might find that their fingers are quicker than their brains. God knows it happens!

Okay. Granny costume off. I'm outa here.

No offense meant, and I hope no offense taken. ;)

And, the suggestion for the name "Thinking of England" is absolutely brilliant.

Alright, I'm going to go ahead and make that forum.

We can work on the technicalities between now and when the board opens and/or moves :)

Patience though - I have to give the permissions one at a time.

Vision, I'll make sure you have no permissions for it :)

Too lazy to read everything at the mo, but I'm just advertising the fact that I'm a C and I do NOT want the forum's title changed. :P "Thinking of England" is beyond brilliant. Hands off!!!

I have started a "Thinking of England" forum and have moved all threads directly relating to sex to that forum.

As it is a sensitive topic for some, I'm going to give some options on permissions.

Please choose one of the following and PM an admin

A. I don't wish to even *see* the forum.

B. I would like to be able to see the forum, but would *not* like to be able to post in it. (for my own protection, so I don't post something I think I shouldn't) ;)

C.. I would like to see and post in the forum.

All new members - you will only be given the option to see the *title* of this forum until you request otherwise.

That's all :P
Just a heads up :)

Pretending you don't see the double-meaning in most of what Lidless says is gonna be a full-time job, Impenitent. ;)
