:( No. I was hoping that maybe you or someone else with admin powers had accidentally deleted them trying to quote something. I'll check the admin panel.

:Q Now b77 is doing it too! It's rearranging posts! ACK!

HoF just did the same thing. So there's definitely some kind of glitch going on with the host site.

It looks like posts are disappearing on HoF, too.

Prim says on HoF:

It's a time stamp problem, Lali. At some point the board clock reset itself to five hours and some minutes later than the actual time (this happened for all time zones). Voronwë filed a trouble ticket, and an hour or so ago the board clock was reset. But the posts with the artificially late time stamps still have them, which means there are posts with time stamps more than three hours from now in some threads.

So the new posts going in with correct stamps are being shuffled in with the earlier posts with the incorrect stamps. Until three or four hours from now, when you post in a thread, your post won't necessarily appear as the last one in the thread.

I'm wondering if we need to submit a ticket, or if they've "corrected" it already.

ETA: Our board time looks correct now. I'm guessing that they've corrected it; however, I don't know if our missing posts will ever return.

The other thing to watch for is that it's not giving me any indications of when people post something new or if I have a PM. So it's easy to miss new stuff.

Hopefully, this will all get sorted out in a few hours when our clocks all resynchronize. In the meantime, Jude may or may not be able to post right now. ;)

So...has our rift in the space-time continuum been repaired? I certainly hope so.

:spock

There are at least 2 threads that I know of where a whole bunch of posts disappeared overnight. Any ideas?

Well, the posts are there, in the database...

The format of the date field is one I'm not familiar with - so I'll hold off on manual editing.

It looks like 23 posts are in the database but not on the site.

Oddly enough, I can't find today's posts in the database.

Weird. Well, if you figure out how to do it, can you post directions here? Someone on HoF may want to give it a go, too.

Be prepared for more wonkiness. The board clock is 5 hours fast again. :(

Testing at 6.22 AM...

Edit: besides the hour offset, it seems to be off by ten minutes.

So how do you send a support ticket to wherever we're supposed to send those things? I looked through the ACP but didn't see anything obvious.

I think the info may be in the Sensitive Info forum - this would be an issue with our hosts, not something the phpbb app would know anything about.

Is the same thing happening on HoF? (like, does the time register as 5 hours and 10 minutes after the actual time?)

Yes, the same thing is happening there; however, their time is different.

I noted this yesterday:

HoF is 2:24am, and b77 is 6:24am. (All the while, it's really 9:15pm EST.)

What's even more interesting is that the times are changing. When I noted the time on b77, there was a 18 minute difference (on top of the 2 hour difference). Now there's a 6 hour 9 minute difference!

What is their Guest timezone (Admin panel -> General -> Board Settings)?

Ours is UTC Western European Time, Greenwich Mean Time.

Well, I'm not an admin there, so I can't check. It says: All times are GMT - 4 Hours. But I suppose that's my personal setting choice.
