But there's a difference between desiring something like that, and actually trying to get it, mostly at the expense of others..

Masters of Deception

Some possible new twists to the Plame story, which would actually seem to make more sense.

The Cheney Administration didn't really need to discredit Joe Wilson over his Iraq conclusions, the war was already in the bag. And how was outing his wife going to discredit him anyway? Plus, they would have known there'd likely be fallout. Was it worth the fallout just to 'get back' at Wilson?

So it looks like Plame was involved with Iran intel.. very suspicious if true.

Not related to the last post, but:

US Congressman Ron Paul on dollar hegemony and its connection to Iraq and Iran

This may get him inducted onto my (very short) list of decent people in the US government. Who'd have thought a Texas Republican would make it? :D

Ron Paul is, in my opinion, the best person in Washington. He is also the 1988 Libertarian Party candidate for President.

Unlike other RINOs, he is a libertarian.

Speaking of Ron Paul and Iran, his website has a video of his recent speech: "Iran: The Next Neocon Target". A transcript is available there as well.
