Right now I'm procrastinating.

But only for a moment longer. Just wanted to say Hi! and Great t'See Ya!

I don't really buy this test... it's full of totally loaded questions. I'd be curious as to see how they scored it, or if all questions are valued the same.

I know it's not correct because it put me right down the middle...

-.25
-1.5

I find that hard to believe

Ah, Farawen. It's all Jny's fault!

But just to be on topic I took the test. I'm -1.88 and -3.13. Is that sufficiently pinko to qualify for this board?

The test is rigged, apparently...

I came out more liberal than you! :LMAO: There's something wrong with that test as I'd always thought you were more liberal than me judging from your posts in Manwe. So I don't know, you may be too conservative for us! :P

A Lidless smiley! I shall cherish it.

Interesting. But it doesn't really surprise me that much. The liberal/conservative split in Manwe is very much focused on just a few issues. Socially I'm quite liberal, but I'm a serious fiscal conservative, and also a great believer in capitalism and the profit motive. It actually annoys me to be pigeonholed as a 'liberal' when one of my biggest beefs with the Bush administration is the way they have piled up debt.

But I guess I should save the political observations for another thread. :)

Hehe, a whole board full of lefties! No wonder we have trouble with authority!

I took that one on TORC some months ago, but I thought it would be quicker to do it again than find the thread.

I got:
Economic Left/Right: -6.25
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.51

I think my results a few months ago were similar, I remember posting that coming out in the vicinity of Ghandi was probably a good sign.

I am completely unable to be pigeon-holed in any particular way. My views are all over the map, and usually are completely off the political spectrum.

Voronwe,
I wonder if that's why I managed to land right in the middle? Some of the things I strongly agreed or disagreed with one wouldn't necessarily expect to see in the same person.

Didn't bother taking the test.

Suffice it to say that I am the anti-Liddy in all respects.

And I adore big words.

Maria, makes sense to me. Maybe that's why you come across as such a well-balanced person. :)

I suspect that two axes are insufficient to really map out human political diversity. The question is, what is the third one?
