1. Loverboy (are they some sort of payback?)
2. Cold Canadian fronts that move clear down to New Mexico. Its a desert here, we loves our sun, stop sending cold down.

Well thats about it.

The quality of poutine varies immensely from venue to venue. If you absolutely must try this artery-clogging concoction, make sure you ask for recommendations from the locals.

But for the sake of your health, why not just skip the whole thing and treat yourself to some dark chocolate instead? :D

Cheese on chips? Why didn't we invent that? That sounds brilliant! Especially Wilma's idea of vinegar and black pepper.
What's to hate about Canada?
Conrad Black
You should sound more British
Too far away
We should see more of you.
If I try to think of anything else I'll just get a headache.

I know places in Holland where Canadians are welcomed with open arms.
And the sacrifices that the young men in Canada's navy made have not been forgotten here vison.

1. Mr. Harper
2. The fact that any decent competitor airline to the crappyness of Air Canada (I agree with Lurker here... UGH!... overpriced, rude, getting cheapie as hell... they used to have student fares, but no, not anymore, and friggin monopolizing) goes under pretty damn fast (RIP Harmony, you were awesome  )
3. Canada Post. This system has serious issues. Delays, lost mail, and the prices for overseas stuff are rudely insane. (Example: thin birthday card express post to Poland = $50... Im not kidding. Same service in the US, $18...)
4. The health system in Ontario slowly going to hell. Why not focus on what is uniquely good and nurture it instead of leaning towards privatization and cutting services to resemble South of the border...ugh
5. The rain in Vancouver, the -30 C winters in Toronto
6. The intense bureacracy one meets at many "official" places trying to get things done
7. Empty promises of politicians to freeze tuition prices... hah
8. The fact that its so darn big (geographically), especially annoying in an Ontario/West Coast long distance relationship.
9. The "anti unity" sentiments within the country... inter provincial rivarly and stereotypes. I see more and more of this and it saddens me. Not just Quebec vs. rest of Canada, but even West vs. East.
10. the unfortunate fact that the NDP isnt getting nearly as many votes in elections as they should. :P

OK I am ready to make my list

1. Winter almost half the year
2. Stephen Harper
3. The fact we backed out of Kyoto
4. Liberal party corruption
5. Inability to freeze tuition prices :rage:
6. Not enough grants for students, student loans just aren't a propper solution. :rage:
7. New immigrants (professionals) needing "Canadian experience" before they can get a job in Canada. :rage:
8. Treatment of fthe First Nations people past, present, and future.
9. Doctor shortages
10. Subtle racism. Everyone always look to the US and their problems in that department but it's in other places too.

I like Canada.

I loved doing winter biking in Milwaukee with the lake effect freezing, -15F is warm type weather cause it made me feel like a tough hardass ;) Thank you arctic winds from Canada for making me feel that way :P

When doing flights within north america, I never flew anything but midwest express. They do only the U.S. and Toronto though - and it's mostly backwater little towns in the midwest that they do. I don't care though. The whole plane is first class, and they serve fresh chocolate chip cookies on every flight, plus it's based out of Milwaukee, so flying from there was fairly cheap.

I don't like living so far from Canada, cause it means I'm far away from all you lovely Canadians

I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map, And knew that somehow I could find my way back; Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too - So I stayed in the darkness with you

I can't list 10 things I hate about Canada I haven't even been there.

I guess one thing that bugs me about Canadians is that they keep poking fun at how fat us American's are. Some of us have glandular problems :D

Nah, Celine Dion.

She absolutely curdles me with her (no doubt sincere) saccharine sweet and loving romantic songs.

And good news for the Canucks, the US Dollar is now just about equal to yours!! So, when can I move up there? any offers? :D:D
