That was... :scratch: ...that was...weird. And kinda awful.
He didn't really make a point beyond that hobbits are more relatable than superpeople, which is true, though obvious.
Beyond that......I mean, LOTR seems pretty pro-monarchist to me. :blackeye:

She was.

And she was an adulterer, and a snob, and quite the phoney. And her books are AWFUL as novels.

But I tend to agree with a lot of her ideas. Not all, but a lot.

I thought Fountainhead was quite good. Been meaning to re-read it for a while and see if I'd still think so.
But I agree with you on Atlas Shurgged for sure. Though the ideas are still fascinating.
