Brilliant. Even Dubya never looked this out of it.

What's also interesting is that the french media don't seem to be covering it and apologies had to be issued for even making the suggestion.

What also seemed to be hushed up is how Sarkozy was running for US President in Heroes.

Did it make the news over there? I'd never heard of it and didn't think to check the date :P

Tosh, LOL :LMAO: I knew I'd seen Sarkozy somewhere before. :D

Iavas, I can't remember if that particular tidbit made the UK news. It was all over the French press though. Sarkozy is a very newsworthy President, from his family soap opera before being elected, to his intervention in the Chad "kidnap" case (a bit of a French cowboy stunt, that one), to his wedding to Carla Bruni. The paparazzi must love him.

I personally don't. He's a rightwing cowboy, worse than Blair in many respects. I would have preferred Segolene, but I'm not a French citizen and can't vote in that country. My son will be able to, though, so I must keep track of French politics (in addition to Spanish and British) for his sake.

Speaking of which, it's election time in Spain. I must send my postal vote tomorrow.

This was shortly after his elelction, anyway and it made the news all over the place, including television and of course the whole Internet community and speculation if he was (lightly) poisoned (you know KGB stuff.....)

And Sarko is an attention whore who sleeps with the media. I can't stand the guy.
