If you're using Windows, hit the Print Screen key, then run PaintBrush, paste, and save.

Stunning! One can almost feel as if one was travelling through our Galaxy virtually. I don't think I have seen as big a test of my sense of wonder for quite a while.
Thanks Maria.

Man, I feel small!
It said our galaxy was born 13 billion years ago. Wow. Long time. Earth was born 4 billion ago. And to think there are atleast 100 billion galaxies.

I am a mere fleck of dust in the universe's fart.

My mother-in-law gave me the entire 7-disc collection of Carl Sagan's Cosmos series last week as an early birthday present. So much yummy astronomy.

Sw00ns for Sagan.

Cosmos was an amazing series for its time, I think I watched it spellbound when it first aired. Another favorite of mine I need to get sometime, although occasionally it is repeated on the more obscure "science" cable channels.

I watched an equally fascinating show just last night about gigantic black holes found in the center of nearly every galaxy so far. It is amazing what they are finding out about the universe in my lifetime, I can only imagine what they will learn long after I am gone, which is one reason I wish I could be around a lot longer than I will be.

Amazing. I'll have to return to it on a better time for a proper look.
