Yes, I realized the irony of my statement vs what people often accuse me of.

However, I of course have the added benefit of knowing I am NOT simply repeating myself.

Glad I could provide you with some amusement, though.

I am celebrating Hal.

I am entitled. I worked hard to help elect Barack Obama. I put in over 100 hours of campaign work and not a small amount of money. And I am so happy that I did.

Sorry if that offends you.

Okay - not sorry at all.

Could we please return to discussion and refrain from the name calling and snide remarks?

yes, and you're doing it off topic in a thread that has nothing to do with it.

I can only assume you are doing this to try to distract from the actual discussion.

But it has helped me understand you a little better. It's not just that you use tactics taht attack the source of an idea, or put forth a strawman similar to an idea that you can pull arguments against off of some website... it's that you're incapable of forming your own arguments entirely. All you have available to you is others' opinions... if you can't find talkign points to refute ideas you don't like, you have to resort to ignoring them, and trying to distract others from the fact you are ignoring them... with dancing banannas aparently.

good job... the party only lasts so long though, and then reality begins again.

of course you are 100% right... send me a bill for the analyst session Doc.

Did you ever see the comedian Kevin Meaney? He did this great bit where he danced across the stage singing "I don't care, I don't care, I don't care"

It was great.

Really, where has she complained?

I'm sure she knows John McCain cost her the election.

I imagine if she is commenting (you can do that without "complaining," you know, although "complaining" does have a condescending and patronizing quality to it, in case you didn't know) as she did for that documentary on the media, I would imagine it would be merely to add her opinion to the overwhelming evidence of how the media treated her different than they treat anyone on the left.

John McCain cost Palin the election? I thought it was Obamas bad campaigning, the bias media, Tina Fey, City Folks, Russia, liberals, grass roots kool aid drinkers, evil doers, Canadian Radio, pro-lifers, eletists, educated people, media sw00ners, poor people, anti-war protestors, and all the Non-Real American Americans. Come to find out it's aaaaalllll John McCains fault. Good lord how many excuses must be made for this women?

But I must say it is ALL John McCains fault. Had he picked lint out of his pocket and ran it for VP he could have won.

I do have to wonder thought, in just a few short hours President Obama will be CiC, will he or won't he invoke the Patriot Act? I wonder what the meaning of Terrorist will then be, if it stays the same....well....

How could McCain cost Palin the election when it was McCain running for office? She was the running mate, not the candidate.

Well, as you say, she wasn't the top of the ticket. If she HAD been the presidential candidate, I imagine things would have been very different.

Not likely. Conservatives had no love for McCain. In fact, they hated him. As soon as he won the primary he lost the election. The only thing that gave him a shot at all was Palin. Of course he screwed that up.

LOL, Obama will do what he thinks is necessary to protect the counrty... one would hope. I suspect a LOT of his supporters will be disappointed in how he does so.

The real question is, how much will he try to hide, and how open he will be?

here is a link to Palins crying, moaning and complaining

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/20 ... s-who-lie/" target="_blank" target="_blank

She reminds me of the SEINFELD spoof on Nancy Kerrigan & Tonya Harding.

yeah, that's not "crying, moaning, and complaining." That's commenting on how utterly rediculous the media's treatment of her has been. It's accurate and relevant.

Your attempt to characterize her statements as meaningless and childlike is stupid.

Haven't you gotten your self in enough trouble this week for calling people names?

not calling anyone any names.

Haven't you gotten tired of mischaracterizing what I say and do? Oh, wait, that's all you have ever done.

A quick search comes up with the following sources of blame on behalf of Sarah Palin for her election loss:

1. George Bush and his policies
2. Hollywood
3. Liberalism
4. Socialists
5. Tina Fey
6. the rest of SNL cast
7. Tricky and dishonest questions
8. her own handlers
9. the media
10. sexism
11. regionalism
12. elitism
13. liberal bloggers
14. John McCain
15. other Republicans
16. the economy
17. the Hispanic vote
18. the Republican R by her name
19. anti-incumbency sentiment
20. money
21. misinformation

I am sure that there are others I could not find.
