The Pittsburgh Steelers are playing some other loser team this year. When Pittsburgh wins the game tomorrow, they will be the first team to ever have won it 6 times.

I live about an hour west of Pittsburgh. Steeler fever is crazy here. Crazy!!

How can someone watch this when there is a game like soccer????

Because we don't really get soccer here. There are a few professional teams (I think we stole Beckham =:) ) but it doesn't have the draw of football (American). I much prefer our brand of football to soccer. Soccer is simply an poor excuse for hockey :devil: .

Two things go hand in hand- First is crazy and second is anyone who roots for Pittsburgh

The fact that Pittsburgh will set a record is all the more reason to pull for Arizona, Steeler fans are obnoxious enough and they don't need this.

Soccer is divine... but I think it takes a minimum of intelligence and finesse to understand the subtle tactics of soccer - the one and only football, by the way ;););)

Man, I love the World Cup when I was living in Toronto since I was rooting for France and most of my colleagues are Greeks, Portuguese and Italians. We had our little flags on our offices and flags on our cars. It's like the Stanley Cup in my neck of the woods.

No matter how much I watch European football, I just don't get it. Nothing about it appeals to me. :shrug: If I want to watch a game where a bunch of players all vie to get a smallish object into the other team's net, I'll watch hockey. To me, hockey is far more interesting--faster and on ice. :D Basketball is a great sport, too. :love: And I will always love American football.
