Ah, I know what happened - it's what happens when the "Quote" button is so perilously close to the "Edit" button. :P

Here I was expecting universal praise for Palin's stand up comedy appearance on Leno the other night. The silence is shocking... must be that everyone is still in stitches. :P :P

This trend of only wanting to get news that agrees with your own preconceived bias is not new. The niche market idea has been around for at least a decade now. What is frightening is that there are people - people who claim they want to get all points of view - people who claim to be thinkers - people who think they are smart or intelligent - who have no interest in any real challenge to their beliefs and views.
I am pretty sure that there are plenty of people from both sides of the political spectrum like this. Pretty sure there are members of the this board like this. Many of us get to a certain point where we make up our minds and we feel we have heard enough and you can take till you are blue in the face about something and you'll just be wasting air trying to convince us otherwise.

Palin ridiculed for Canadian health care use
Quote:
Sarah Palin's weekend admission that her family once travelled to Canada to receive treatment under the public health-care system she's so often demonized prompted skepticism and ridicule Monday among her critics in the U.S.
The ridicule is well-deserved in this case :P

The word HYPOCRISY seems to fit Palin like a glove.

The other, of course, involves orcs. - John Rogers

Canada should sue for fraud.

I am sorry the US isn't the only country this person is abusing.

Sarah Palin's secret facebook account
Quote:
“Lou Sarah” (Palin’s middle name is Louise) was discovered after an eagle-eyed blogger was perusing through an unpublished manuscript written by a former aide to the national nightmare. In it, a Gmail address belonging to Palin was left uncensored, and after a little backtracing, that email address was discovered to be tied to… wait for it… Lou Sarah’s Facebook account.

What a phony this woman is. Why does anyone continue to support her?
