I've cried a thousand oceans, and I would cry a thousand more if that's what it takes to sail you home.

I only just found out why the Nobel Peace Prize was started last week, but based on the information, Obama`s win may be less ironic than you`d expect. :P

It`s totally amazing. Funny that I came across it while looking for scary stories on youtube.

After I became a fan and got into full episodes, I realized why the plot was so familiar: there was a program in Canada called History Bites that also used modern media cliches to present historical fact in a humorous way. Haven`t gotten into that show yet so can`t compare, but given that Horrible Histories is based on a children`s book series, I think it`s even more up b77`s alley. I was several seasons in before I realized the show was made for kids lol. The puppet host probably should have been a clue, :P but I was too busy laughing at fart jokes to care.

Everyone should check it out for sure. I can`t remember the last time I felt so entertained and educated while watching silly songs about cavemen, the middle ages, and world war.

There were two channels I watched it on - my subscription is on another computer, but I think one guy was Abdullah something and another was Primrose Garden. So look for their usernames next time you do a youtube search for HH! I went through all five seasons in like two or three weeks. :P

Don't be such a stranger, *E*! :)

That was funny, btw! Now I'm going to watch more of them till I have to go put my clothes back on to go out tonight.

(I'm not naked. I just have most things off and am sitting in my robe.)

That's TMI, isn't it? :uhoh:

There's a guy lying next to me wearing only a collar and a scarf he was awarded for taking part in the Wiggle-Waggle-Walkathon. =:)

My favourites from Horrible Histories were the Borgia song and the Cleopatra song.

Okay, now back to your scheduled discussion of Obama and his peace prize.
