Gotta love January sales...

For those who don't know, the World of Warcraft Battlechest contains:

World of Warcraft
Burning Crusade
World of Warcraft Strategy Guide
Burning Crusade Strategy Guide

Wonder how many people bought the others at €40 + €13

Hit 70 with my Pally last Saturday. By Tuesday night I'd finished Kara attunement & gone on a full Kara clear with people who had just about everything they needed out of the instance.

Got 3 healing and 3 DPS purplz in one run, due to nobody else needing much of anything that dropped other than the badges. Powerleveling appears to be a thing of the past. Welcome to powergearing. :P

I'm expecting that we'll be spending a few more weeks downing Gruul and gearing up. Then we'll be starting Tempest Keep and Serpentshrine Cavern.

Powergearing rules. :P Same thing happened to me when I went into Kara with my guild the first time...ended up with like 6 or 7 epics in one night.

TK and SSC aren't bad as long as you have a group who can all work together and has a good deal of coordination, which is why I think it's a good idea to do Mag before heading in there...that fight is all about coordination and nothing else.

Hit 60 with my warlock two weeks ago - spent a lot of time looking for someone who'd come to Scholomance with me :(
Seems only Palas and Warlocks go there - well they have to for their epic mounts - though it seems much more easier (and maybe cheaper ;) ) just to buy another one ^^

Depending on server economy, pallies and locks can save more than 50% on the combined cost of 150 riding/a fast land mount via the quest. So Scholo and DM are definitely worth it for them. :D

Your best bet may be to find a pally who needs a mount and do a LFG from there--it's always easier to find a group when you start with a tank or healer.

Or bribe some 70s, which is generally easier when they're in your guild.

In any case, good luck!

All the toons I care about are on Arathor.

What an odd sentence that is, now that I look at it.

It was a long shot that any of us would be on the same server but I had to try :D :D.

So I have a problem friends I have a level 33 Night Elf Hunter, 24 Dranei Mage, 14 Gnome Warlock, and 11 Dwarf Warrior. I think I need some help for my WoW addiction and fondness for making characters :). My ultimate goal is to take my Night Elf Hunter to 70 and kick some major ass with my brother and bf. So much to do so little time....

Oh and I have a 11ish Tauren Druid on Windrunner too whom I'll probably never see since I've gone Alliance. But I really really love Horde stupid WoW.

Took down The Lurker Below in SSC for the first time a couple nights ago. Already have tanks with frost & nature resist sets for Hydross, and I'll be picking up some fire resist gear for Leotheras tanking this week as well. Should be interesting.

We're also expecting to try the first boss in Mount Hyjal once the attunement requirement is listed. Apparently he's pretty doable at our gear level. All it requires is coordination.

Hydross is eeeeasy. As long as your raid isn't full of retards and they all know how to cross a line at the correct time. ;)

As for tanking demon Leo...soulstone yourself. Our lock tank usually dies at least once, and our healers are damn good. I hate the Leo fight though, worst one in there except Vashj, imo.

We're working on Kael now, hopefully we'll down him soon and be off to Hyjal ourselves. :)

I plan on hitting 225 fire resist minimum, but now with the news of the new T6 equivalent heroic badge rewards being available in patch 2.4, I'm tempted to save my badges and try to use the crafted fire resist gear instead.

Oh and RE: Kael. You must be having a blast. I hear he's one of the best encounters in the game.

Edit: Removed a question that I answered myself

Well, so far I'm hating Kael, actually...all the other fights we've done so far, even Vashj, we've learned fairly quickly, within 2-3 nights of trying...there's just so much to remember with Kael that I can tell this is going to take us far longer. So that's a bit frustrating. At this point I like the Vashj fight far better even though there's a lot more randomness and luck in that one.

My recent WoW addiction has seriously limited my b77 time. I have 5 characters at the moment. My goal is to try every kind of character at some point. I like my blood elf the best. She is level 22 on The Forgotten Coast. I also have a Tauren Druid, level 9 on the same server. Part of the motivation is to have another character to share skills with. My husband and I generally play together, though he is up to level 32. Whatever you people might say, I favor playing a hunter.
All of my alliance characters are on Gorfiend. I have a level 16 night elf, a 15 drainei and a level 6 dwarf, all hunters. I am not very fond of the dwarf because I don't like using a gun.
The whole zombie thing is really annoying. It is so frustrating spending an hour or more just looking for a town to buy arrows or unload my constantly over-filled bags, without being turned into a zombie or finding everyone dead from a recent zombie attack.

:D only five, Lily Rose ?

my last count today was 41 :Q

and WOW is limiting my B77 time, while little Ida is limiting my WOW time.

And to think I just bought a Wii and wanted to get into LotR online... :bang:

I'll never get to see some of the instances.......

I don't like the gun, either, that's why my dwarf is a rogue.
and having 10 chars on one server is quite convenient.

one as banking character who's single member of a guild with three guild banking logs.
one is enchanter and tailor
one is leatherer and Furrier
one is smith and miner
one is alchimist and herbalist
one is engineer and miner
one does jewelry and mines
one has the new scoll-making craft and collects herbs
and the last two just gather herbs and mines.......

Hooray for INDEPENDENCE! YAY!
