This is possibly the strangest film I've ever seen. The premise seems harmless enough-- someone finds a portal into someone's brain and sells tickets -- but the places they go with that idea! :shock:

Wow. Just .... wow.

I'm still somewhat flabbergasted just thinking back on it.

'99 was such a good year. I don't care if people adored No Country for Old Men and There Will Be Blood - we haven't had another one like it! :pout:

Anyway, been ages, but I remember enjoying this one well enough. It came out in the early years of finding my own tastes and still thinking the Academy was infallible. I found Charlie Kaufman's Eternal Sunshine a lot harder to ingest than this ever was.

I forget how much he deserved it, but the end was depressing. Perhaps why I haven't watched it over the years heh. Mind traps and limbos are hard for me to deal with. :P
