I've cried a thousand oceans, and I would cry a thousand more if that's what it takes to sail you home.

If it doesn't, TM, I'm back at Crickhollow or something. :P

I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map, And knew that somehow I could find my way back; Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too - So I stayed in the darkness with you

Yes I'm going to join! Once I figure exactly what my method is going to be, I know the stationary bike is my mode of exercise but that's only part of my plan.

Sleep now

They are calling
From across the distant shore

Why do you weep?
What are these tears upon your face?
Soon you will see
All of your fears will pass away
Safe in my arms
You're only sleeping

I'm aiming to join. Just have to get my butt in gear. Also, am going to check out Curves, that gym for women.

So, two years later and I finally made it to Rivendell. Would have made it a long while ago if it weren't for those really long breaks when I let depression get to me. I did the majority of my miles from June-October 2005 (around 340 it seems), did a small spurt in January-February 2006 (got me into the 400s I believe), then a tiny spurt in June 2006. Nothing until May 15th of this year.

Right now I'm at 464.91 (+7 Rivendell). I'm heading out for Lothlorien and almost at the Ford of Brúinen.

I've noticed I can't walk as fast as I used to. I don't know if there's a difference between the apartment treadmill I'd been using and the gym treadmill, but 3.5mph feels fast enough. Don't think I could even attempt 4.0 right now.

I'm splitting up my cardio between eliptical and treadmill so I don't get too entirely bored.

Congrats, Eru. :)

I did my first walk of the year last week, but the Word Perfect document I was keeping track of this stuff in wouldn't let me save without crashing the entire program and seems to be missing my last two months from 2006. And depression seems to have hit early this year so maybe I'll get more done in the winter lol. Right now, I'm just trying to watch some Zip.ca movies and get out to the mailbox every day or two. I'll head into the cove with the dog soon and get a nice workout that way.

Good luck and have fun, whichever you do.

Between my word document not saving the information I key in, and my pedometer being inaccurate to the point of uselessness, I haven't been walking at all this summer besides a trip to the mailbox four or five days a week. Some days I walked it twice while dropping off or picking mail up, but it's still not very far. I just don't care anymore. The bike's right behind me in the computer room and I never even think about it.

Some day I'll start up the walking/biking again, but not now.

No, that's okay. I'll aim for the fall, when I'll need things to do anyway.

I've always wanted to do this and figured I might as well start now.

Haven't walked any yet (today has been a busy day) but I will start tomorrow.

And yay for Team Wilson. :damnfunny:
