....that while I have a beautiful ROTK EE with Minas Tirith sitting on my desk right now and about to be watched, in America it doesn't come out until next week!

*points and laughs* :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO:

BUAHAHA! I'm sorry, it's so cool to get something before you guys do. The cinema premieres were all in January or February, we always get everything late....NOT THIS TIME!!!1

*goes to watch*

Feel free to use this thread as a ROTK EE discussion.

You're joking?

Hey I know why! I went to the store this morning and they told us they'd only have it tomorrow because we got the Dutch version by mistake!! :LMAO: :LMAO: :LMAO:

But there were some in Warsaw when I came home, so maybe they screwed up and were lying.

It's going to be an interesting day.

Oh hell yeah. You are officially the coolest kid in Warszawa.

Everyone in Europe wishes they had a Winona Lake T-shirt decorated by teh Lady Ro.

And it came with sex mints too.

My mum and sister went oooh at the sex mints. I'm gonna read the letters for bedtime. And YES I am the coolest...wanna take bets on how many people in school are gonna read my back?

I am especially impressed with the straight lines around 'I love my sister city'.

I do too.

The "I (heart) my sister city" is supposed to be a bumper sticker. :P Instead it turned out more like a bum sticker, but beggers can't be choosers.

But how about that keychain, eh? teh kewlest!!!!

I never begged for nothing! But indeed my bum is now decorated. The keychain rocks- I have an idea now what to put in your package. Which will arrive late, no doubt, but beggars....

Ordered.... came (I nearly hugged the delivery guy when he finally showed up at 6.30pm :Q ) ... saw

SPOILERS.... not much

must say - really hate that spikey wheely thingie :rage:

lots of little bitts here and there extra are just nice  , could have lived without the sleeping Eowyn / Aragorn scene  and more about the Dead   - except perhaps that last bitt (but then of course it would not have made sense lol), absolutely loved more stuff of the Corsairs  (mental note, must send some screencaps to Kaya ... later though), Houses of Healing.... erm.... well.....
What I still can't get over though is the lousy editing (s'cuse me Mr. PJ  ) on the Sam/Gollum/lembas crumbs thingie :LMAO:

overall? Not as thrilled as I thought I might be but heck, it's downwinding and tear-jerking ( yeah! Still) and all that...
Must watch it again

I made a m00b post :Q

SPOILERS!

The spikey wheelie dealie surprised the heck out of me, but the minute I saw the thing sticking out of the water I went YAHAHAWHAT?AAAAh

...anyway they could have done with Grima stabbing him, that was a very good bit, not much need for the spike. Though where Saruman put away that palantir in between takes I do NOT want to know.

I wanna know WHY THE ARWEN BOOK SCENE WASN'T EXTENDED. She's wearing a blue dress in one shot and a red one in the next, for cripe's sakes, MISSING FOOTAGE HELLOOOOOO?

I wish they'd included the stuff of her on the bridge from the trailer, with Elrond saying, "You gave away your life's grace. I cannot protect you anymore." :( The shot of her approaching the shards of Narsil is years old, its just sort of funny to see her, within minutes, change from purple cloak to blue dress to different cloak to red dress. Ooo! And then that lovely shot of her hugging Elrond in the trailer. There should always be more Arwen scenes.:rage::rage::rage::evil:

I not only nearly hugged the delivery guy, but gave him a bottle of sparkling wine because I was completely overjoyed that it arrived in time. He must think me completely mad...

Yep, missing Arwen scene. :( Major disappointment at Aragorn and the palantir - excuse me, but I don't want to see the Evenstar breaking twice. I like the HoH.
And, um, it's a really long movie. Too long? I definitely know that I won't see the whole thing often, maybe again two times while watching the commentaries, but then? No.

But strangely, I started to cry in all earnest when I watched the first documentary and they showed the graves in Oxford and I remembered Ber's reading and the whole wonderful weekend.
