Going to see it again today :D

(Not all movies need an intricate plot - though I think the Queen's part of the story was more than 5%!)

I would like to know how big (or small) David Wenham's part is.

Btw, still 3 days waiting for "300"!

Given that he never took his diaper off onscreen, I really can't answer that.

I meant his part of the story.

I knew that was coming. :)

And yovargas, I agree about his accent - from what I've heard so far. It definitely isn't his Faramir accent, which would have been perfect.

Tickets are ordered. Tonight, we dine...erm we go to cinema. :D

Unfortunately, our cinema shows the German dub version. David will have another German voice as in LOTR.

Hey, the set-up was perfect. It would be pure and simple negligence to let that one slide.

I didn't like his accent either. It didn't really sync with the rest of the Spartans.

Now, I have watched the movie. It's not historical accurate, even totally wrong. I would call it a pur fantasy movie. The visual style is great: it's new and comic-like. I loved the brown colours.
David Wenham was great. His role is not big, but he has great scenes.

But I think, in generally, the characters are superficial. They didn't develope and are somewhat wooden.

I'd consider it a fun popcorn movie.

Oh, hey, only 3 years late to the discussion. :blackeye:

Freddy and I watched this last night. Like I said in the Hippo Lounge, ehhhhh. I did enjoy David Wenham's mostly nakedness. There were some parts of the cinematography that I thought were beautiful, but, mostly, I do not like this overall style. And I definitely did not like all of the weirdness. What was up with that?!

Daisy undressed??? I must correct this oversight on my part! :D

Wasn't Michael Fassbender in this? What did you think of him...seeing as how he's being touted possibly for Bard?

Yes, indeed, you do need to correct this oversight. I can't recommend the movie itself, per se, but there is plenty of man flesh to see, and I am particularly fond of Faramir's. ;)

Michael Fassbender was in this. I saw his name in the credits. Hang on...

Oh, Stelios. Yes, he was pretty yummy! I think that's the main requirement for being Bard, isn't it--yumminess? ;)
