If next week's trailer is anything to go by there's going to be a lot of shooting.

I have to say Zarak/Gaeta stuff is really making me go  a bit. It's like the cylons are more human than the humans.

I am really thinking the whole thing started on earth and we seeded them at this point. The Cylons are actually Cybergenetic Clones...i.e. Cylons for short. We implated implated them with an A.I. chip to survive the trip. We did the clones to take care of the embryos we also put on the space suttle, and the humans over the course of time had evolved, thus making Cylons and them the very least different as possible. The clones would always be unable to breed...well because for some reason I think cloned animals are infertile. The evolution would happen in both Cylons and Humans....

And what will really put a twist in their panties is when they find a frozen human on earth who explains this and then tells them they all evolved from lower primates.

Thank God! I never understood the American fascination with telling everyone whats gonna happen next week. And now the Beeb have started doing it with shows like Dr Who and Merlin. I just don't get it! If you like the show you'll tune in next week. If you don't, is a 5 second trailer gonna drag you in?

Eru, you can see the trailer on the Sci-Fi channel website. You can even watch the shows after they've aired in the US (this is how I watch).

If one is excited about the show it can give you even more excitement and anticipation. I distinctly miss having the previews at the end of the show. I like having an inkling of what the show will be about. Same with a movie preview.

River, I'm actually blocked by SciFi because I'm not in the US. Now I can use HotSpot Shield (a proxy I think?) but the loading and playing of videos doesn't work that well...at least with this computer.

I take it you just watched the last episode?

Honestly there has got to be a link between earth and the rest of it. I am thinking this last episode maybe the beginning of that.

We're talking about the episode where there was a mutiny?

River, BSG is aired on Tuesdays over here in the UK so it's safe to talk about the episode. :)

Well if River knows of any other epi's I'd like to know. I thought it was the mutiny.

Spoiler of sorts

did Saul actually die? If so is there a secret resurection machine somewhere and will he be resurected. Maybe its on earth and his complete memory will be restored or something. Does anyone believe the 5th was actually his wife? I don't think it is.

I was talking about the mutiny.

Are you referring to the trailer for the next episode Eru (where Tom Zarek announces Tigh is dead?). I'm not sure if he's really dead or not...there may be some trickery going on here. Then again, maybe he is.

Sorry to poke my nose in here but I figure y'all are the only "safe" ones to link this to. Unless you haven't seen the last episode!! I've never watched an eppy in my life yet so I don't know if by "last" they just mean the most recent, or the series finale. It shows someone singing/humming and looking at pics in their locker, if that doesn't spoil too much.

K, so the point of all this is just to set up a really, really bad commercial placement. Watch a minute of the show and then pay attention to the visuals and lyrics in the commercial immediately following it. Great bury-your-head-in-your-hands moment. :D

Me? Was it the commercial or the scene itself you meant? :(

Ooo, okay. Worried that the scene from the show had ruined something for ya.

We have satellite so just assume that we get different commercials from most other people, either because of all the channel choices or they're a feed from the States therefore we get Canadian ads during commercial breaks instead (Superbowl sucks because of this).

But yeah, unfortunate coincidence. :P

*goes back to waiting for zip.ca to send her BSG dvds*
