So I took my son to see Meet the Robinsons...and it wasn't bad. The 3D wasn't distracting or headache-inducing or anything; it was actually pretty cool. There weren't so much scenes obviously designed to show off the technology as much as there were scenes that were enhanced by it (a subtle difference perhaps, but I think a real one).

Way better than Sensuround. :D

Anyone else have any movie "gimmick" effects they've liked or not?

Saw that movie yesterday...there were really some beautiful effects there. But not enough for the damn raise in price, IMO.

I loved the 3D effects in the Disneyland shows. Terminator 3D, Honey I shrunk the Audience, The Muppets 3D. All excellent. I'd love to see more of them.
