Hmmm... I've never come across those before. They must be new... You'll probably find an item that allows you to transport from one to the other...

I have learned the pole is for a grappling hook weapon that I don't have yet. I feel, better for a while I just thought I was really stupid.

I finally am able to do fishing!!!!

I have to say this game is pretty fun, although the temple of the Ocean king is the killer. Although I think with my second attempt I may actually get somewhere. Although I find when I sell my treasures on one account I have my treasure goes for 1500 and then on the other account the same treasure is just 150. I am confused.

(I can also say Zelda is a great game when one has a cold and can't go anywhere).

SInce this is my first zelda game I would say yes. Definitely buy. i am so glad I bought it. I am now looking at other Zelda games since I know the ds accepts gameboy advance games. I love the little tricks they have in it. It's a videa game that actually encourages thinking!!! :D

That's Zelda for you. No mindless shooting of hordes of monsters for Zelda. No siree.

I also found out you can connect your ds online and play with other people, but I need to get a usb cord for that. That will be my next purchase. Trading stuff and multiplayer would be easier that way I think. Also Crucifer once you do get the game there is a tip for fishing that I have to tell you since they explain how to fish incorrectly in the game.

EDIT: It's a USB wifi connector. Hopefully it's cheap.

So it's not the classic "press the button, using the <> to aim your cast. Press the button to reel a fish in when you catch it" fishing? Awww...

no there is no pressing buttons. You sort of have to pull with your stylus. also though they say you have draw lines over and over when you don't, you lose the fish that way. It's just put the stylus down and don't pick it up until they tell you to let go. Then you gotta reel in the fish.

I tried that one in the holidays! I hated it! I think I just shouldn't have leapt from the first to the second games so fast - it's just it seemed impossibly bad. First we all laughed at how bad it looked, then we passed the controller around for five minutes and everyone died, and then we gave up and went back to where we were stuck on the first game.

I have the old-school Zelda compilation disc for the GameCube. :P

Yeah, I have it on the gameboy advance.
I bought it for a fiver and hated it, but the other day I found it while cleaning my room, and decided to give it another go. The graphics are appalling, the gameplay is appalling, and it's incredibly annoying the way you go back to the main palace every time you die! It makes getting to the next palace a pain!

But, despite that, I'm having trouble putting it down... It really is fun.

Ah Mario Kart. Great in all of it's incarnations! I think I'll get it for my birthday.

But wait... I'm getting a DS and thingy... Phantom Hourglass for my Birthday! :bawl:

I know! I'll get Mario Kart and Twilight Princess as a reward for doing exams!

I got Phantom Hourglass last Tuesday.

*Spoilers follow* (in white)

Finished it this morning. Bit disappointed at the length tbh,

Gameplay, graphics etc. were brilliant. The use of the stylus was great.

BUT...

I think it was a little unbalanced. The Temple of the Ocean King, as Wilma said, is extraordinarily difficult. This sets the bar quite high, and I was expecting this to be consistent.

However, all the other dungeons (Temple of the OK is recurring) are, by comparison, extremely easy! THey lure you into a false sense of security, and then you go back to the T of the OK and all of a sudden, it's really difficult!

Until, that is, you get the phantom sword, which lets you kill the invincible monsters that patrol the temple, making it so hard. From then on, it's pretty easy...

One thing I really liked was how you beat the last boss, and then everything's hunky dory, or so you think... Then there's another surprise boss battle! When it is discovered that the boss was feigning death or something, and it comes back and possesses you're reluctant ally, Linebeck. It really adds something to the ending, as the last boss battle against the possessed Linebeck is actually pleasantly difficult. Once you've worked out how to hit him once, though, it gets easy from then on.

A trend in the game seems to be that once you hit a boss once, nothing changes in the way that that boss defends itself, in order to make it more difficult.

The sailing around, etc. is great fun, as is customizing the ship, and the trading sequence, while staggeringly easy, is also fun, and comes at a good time in the game.

The soundtrack was marvellous. It incorporated elements from pretty much all of the games so far, as well as bringing in new music.

All in all, a pretty good game. I'd recommend it to pretty much anyone, as it's comparative ease makes it accessible to everyone, despite it being quite short.

I am playing super mario for DS and I found the secret room to get to the warp cannon for level one but I can't figure out how to break side blocks as shell mario.

:bawl:

Will get it for my b-day in December! - The Wii and Mario Kart -

I got Mario Kart for the Cube in August and I was playing it with my daughter, when my husband decided to step right into it :Q . (He's the one who never touched the cube before) - now he's addicted to the Kart.

*smirk* he even tried my Mario Kart for the DS, but - Alas! - his hands are too big *snigger*
