I took the stars from my eyes, and then I made a map, And knew that somehow I could find my way back; Then I heard your heart beating, you were in the darkness too - So I stayed in the darkness with you

I've always been partial to this one Must See Family Film of the Year

Soon you will see
All of your fears will pass away
Safe in my arms
You're only sleeping

well, the trailer for "Falling Down" marketed it like it was a wacky comedy, when in fact it was about a man falling apart. Audio is out of Sync, but this is the trailer:

Speaking of movies, I read somewhere that Ben Stein is making a movie where he defends ID?

Anyone know anything about that?

Yes. They interviewed a bunch of scientists for what they described as one project, then used the footage, edited to their purposes, for an ID project. Needless to say most of the scientists involved are pretty steamed.

They also concealed the name of the studio, which is fairly well known for, shall we say, less than mainstream intellectual views, by saying a less well-known subsidiary was doing it.

I foresee legal action.

Aha. Thank you very much. The link I was sent didn't work.

I'm involved in a bit of a discussion about this on another website. The person who posted the link obviously did not research it at all, since she said it was "a family fun film for Christians".

Uh huh.

These people REALLY steam me. Phoney, hypocrtical creeps. Hidden agendas. "Expelled", my aunt Fanny. And so they bloody well should be.

I wonder if they are going to let me post the link Axordil provided. I will just have to go and see.

Well, you know, it's from the New York Times, so it's pretty much guaranteed to be a Satanist plot. ;)

I didn't bother. I don't go to that site for argument, just to hang out with the people who waited with me for FOTR to come out!

The site has more or less been turned into a GoodyTwoShoes sweet shop and that's why I don't go there much any more. Nice people, but all that smiling and hugging wears a person out!

On the other hand, being smacked around here and on Manwe is energizing, doncha think? So I posted the link on Manwe, hoping to start another firestorm about Evolution vs Creationism. And deceitful film makers: remember Borat?
