I figured that's why they called it the axiom. :D

I think one of the things I walked away with was the stewardship of the earth, as it's not disposable.

My biggest issue was the floating chairs and how humans devolved. I don't think our bone mass would actually shrink as much as change into a different form i.e. shorter legs and arms, wider hip bones ect. And those people I know in wheel chairs with liquid diets are all real thin and have sitting sores. But I see the point that the movie was making with the rapid consumerism and self-indulgent lifestyle of a good deal of the western world. I think it's the high gas prices that will change this in the end, but that's a different topic alltogether.

Im pretty sure bone mass does shrink in space on its own, because of the lack of exercise I think. I heard that somewhere. *shrug*

The movie was awesome by the way, loved every minute of every viewing I've had.

It might but I am taking my observations from people who I know in wheel chairs. And from the osteoparosis stuff, it's always the thin European and Asian women that suffer it the most because of the lack of weight bearing. Anyway long story short (too late right) the doctor always is on me about lifting weights to make my bones stronger (weight bearing exercises) so they won't shrink. Of course the people were in chairs and never moved so I can see why they would loose bone mass. I just figured they would loose the stuff they didn't use and make the hip bones bigger from sitting. I also thought that perhaps their lower backbones may fuse, but that's just me speculating on things.

*bump*

I finally saw this - I loved it, but have nothing to add to the brilliant analysis on page 1 of this thread :D

I'm on the waiting list for Up - I'm number 247, actually. :halo:

I don't usually bother with sequels. But if you absolutely insist, I'll put myself on the list for Toy Story 3.

I did see Toy Story 1, though.

*grumble grumble* Okay, I'm number 64 in the queue. Happy?

By the way, your row of emoticons really does look like a bunch of rotten tomatoes. Très apropos.

I guess now is not the time to confess I have never seen a Toy Story movie or Up?

Up is definitely worth your time, Wilma.

I saw Toy Story a very long time ago, and I think I remember it being funny. I need to watch them all again before watching 3.
