I have to say I love the look of this. A lot of care has gone in to make it look and sound like the New Line Movies, and the Soundtrack is very Howard Shore inspired. Premieres for free online on May 3rd!

I hadn't noticed you posted this Alatar, because I usually forget that there is a movies forum on here. I ended up posting a similar link in Turf.

It does look pretty cool. My main concern is whether they got a viable script that moves the story, or whether you will have a bunch of cool shots of people walking around and nice landscape with nothing to keep the audience interested.

We will see.

Just watched it. It was pretty good. There indeed wasn't a whole lot of dialogue, but considering the story followed that makes enough sense to me. There are little bits of narration anyway. Very impressive for something fan made. The quality was a bit fuzzy, even being HD, but it was an entertaining watch. :)

I enjoyed it. Watched it twice.

Too many orcs and squishy noises (during fight scenes) but I had that problem with PJ as well.

The music was a well done pastiche of Howard Shore and Clint Mansell.

It was nice to be in that world again.

How long is this thing? I may give it a watch, but I wasnt impressed by the trailers at all so it'd probably be pretty hard to keep my attention too long.

30, essentially, unless you watch the credits. I didn't, but I heard something about cancaning orcs at the end...

They had some bloopers alongside the credits, with the note that you can see more of them at the website.
