I watched this historical docu-drama last night and really liked it. It's an account of the Apollo 11 mission, when we first landed men on the moon. We got it in blueray, and it was really cool seeing all the NASA footage in high def. :) Even though I knew the outcome, I was riveted to my seat for the entire 94 minutes.

I found myself wondering why I don't remember all the drama. I would have been 6 at the time. I vaguely remember my parents telling me people were landing on the moon--- but was unimpressed. I'd been watching Star Trek since I was about 4, you see! Landing on the moon wasn't that big a deal then.

Watching this, however, was really cool. And I loved James Marsters as Buzz Aldrin. Of course, I haven't seen him in anything yet that I disliked. Yes, I'm a fan. That's how I found this movie in the first place. But I'm really glad I did. It really gave me a feel for the excitement the whole world felt about the first moon landing.
