Just watched Back to the Future with my kids. Seriously. What an awesome movie. I always loved it, but only watching again as an adult do you realise how well it works on so many levels, and how much cleverer it is than the stuff being peddled to kids nowadays (Pixar aside).

Really looking forward to Part Two over the weekend, particularly since the "Future" is now. Where's my hoverboard dammit!

Finally, I also just found out that there's a new Graphic Adventure game coming to PC, Wii, PS3, 360 and iPhone/iPad.

I watched this with the girls not too long ago. It is a great movie! (More swearing than I remember as a kid, but then I've become more sensitive to it now. In any case, worth the swear words. ;) And it's nothing they don't hear from their grandfather.)

I don't remember the 2nd one being nearly as good as the 1st, though. We still need to watch it.

(Another "old" one we watched recently that the girls and I thought was really funny and good was Sister Act.)

If I remember rightly, movie 2 was a film of two halves. The future stuff was fairly weak, but the bit where they went back to 1955 to get the almanac was genius cause you were seeing scenes from the first movie but with future Marty in there as well.

That makes me want to watch it even more now. I'm going to have to put it in my queue for Netflix.

I only ever watched the first. The second hadn't come out yet, and by the time it did, I had moved on. Maybe it's time to go back to the past...

Well, we watched the other two also. Kids loved them. Hell, I loved them. Sure, 2015 was a bit lame, but overall they hold up remarkably well. Did you watch II yet Lali?

No, but I'm putting it in my Netflix queue right now so I don't forget!

Wonders why he had to read on HoF that Lali has seen BttF III and there's still no mention of II in here...

:D I just hadn't gotten around to it. (Actually, I thought of it, then I forgot again. Sorry!)

Yes, we watched BtF II and III recently. BtF III was last night, as a matter of fact. They were fun movies! I still think the first is the best, and I think the third is better than the second. It was fun, though, to see what life is supposed to be like in five years. :LMAO:

And I just have to sw000n a bit for Michael J. Fox. He was always my main celebrity crush, and this just reminded me why. He's so darn cute!

What was really funny was as soon as we finished watching III last night, we turned on Castle, which was a repeat. But it was an episode about steam punk stuff, with a Delorean (sp?) and stuff about Jules Verne! :Q :LMAO:

Anyway, the girls enjoyed them, and that always makes me happy. We did have to put up with a bit of them making fun of 80s fashions, though. :suspicious:
