Is anybody into going to medieval festivals? I went to the Abbey Medieval Festival today and had lots of FUN! I went to this once before like ten years ago and didn't think too much about it being a snarky teen who likely wanted to do something else. But this time, getting dressed up and going with friends was quite enjoyable! Some of us are going back again tomorrow!

Edit.... I'm sorry everyone. They had some malware invade their website. I removed the link until they get it sorted. Hope it didn't screw up anybody's computer :(

:)

Yes, these are fun! I usually dress up, too, but I typically only go every other year or so.

Um - did anyone else's computer start behaving strangely after clicking on the link in the original post?

Just checked and it tried to run a Java app. I presumed it was harmless, but didn't risk it.

I got a "javascript obfuscation warning" from AVG. And a few minutes later (I don't know whether or not it was related) my local apache server popped up an empty warning, and then my computer just shut down abruptly.

I didn't click on it, either. Hope no harm done.

I like those festivals, and I do dress up. We go every couple years. Unfortunately, the other family we used to go with has moved away.

Oh, that's a bummer. :( I sometimes go on the school day they have with the girls, but I've gone with some LotR friends, too. Both are fun experiences!

I haven't been to the KC RenFest in years. I liked the time we went- we really should go again. :)
