Lord M., the vote is over. I will record your vote with the others for the record, but I can't really count it in the tally. It does give us a simple majority on Question 6, which is comforting, but it brings us to a tie on Question 9, which is not comforting.

Well, my fall-back on all these things is the vote of the membership. If points are controversial, they'll be pulled and re-discussed at a later date.

I looked it up for you and I think this is the definition that works for this situation:

3 a : a number greater than another b : an excess of votes over those cast for an opposing candidate c : a number of votes cast for a candidate in a contest of more than two candidates that is greater than the number cast for any other candidate but not more than half the total votes cast
