Sorry to spoil the party, but I voted NO. Actually, I read the first post of this thread and liked what I saw very much -- but then I realized that this was a summary of the two articles -- as I've said before, I much prefer a vastly simplified charter, and what I personally think would be best for this community would be something along the lines of the summary, with a bit of fleshing out of course on a few matters here and there.
Having said that, I'm not going to go all wack-o about us having the charter that we clearly are going to have, and as I've said elsewhere I believe the drafters of those two articles have done an extraordinarily good job at putting it together -- my vote is just a result of a philosophical disagreement based on my perception of how an on-line community would best fulfill the promise of free and unfettered interactions that the internet represents.
