Nuts...I just thought of a hitch...for issues involving England, we probably should not have underage jurors. Can we address that anywhere else or does it have to be here?

Ax: for issues involving England

Good catch. It can go into paragraph, ¶5, and I'll add it now so we don't forget. But if we vote to approve it, I can move it here if that seems more appropriate ... it does seem more appropriate here, doesn't it.

We can stick it in the next vote to be added here. One more bullet point, that's all. Won't affect the text.

Hm. I'm getting voting-itis. How awful would it be, do you think, if I just added that to the text and left this thread up for a few extra days so that people could object, and only if there are objections to such a process we could put it to a vote.

This was too obviously necessary and I could kick myself now for not thinking about it. I hate to make people do these extra visits to the forum instead of having fun, just so they can vote in one-question polls about something like this.

It is pretty obvious...now  I would be ok with extending the vote after adding it.

Ok - the original voting period has ended, so ...

SPECIAL NOTICE

In the first post of this thread, I have added in GREEN the clause that prevents a member from serving on a particular jury if they are under 18 years of age and the hearing concerns the age-restricted forum.

This clause is an additional bullet-point in a list of other things that prevent someone from serving on a particular jury, so it does not alter the text or the sense of the article.

We can't really object to the inclusion of this clause because it is necessary, but if you want to object to including it without a vote, please say so here. I will leave this thread up for two more days - until ~11:59 PM on Wednesday (GMT) and if no one objects to just adding this clause in, I will leave it there and consider this article finished.

If you want to vote again, please say so. Otherwise we will not.

Voted. Agree with age restriction amendment.

Two nitpicky type spelling thingies:

"…o The list of members who are in the Jury Pool will be posted prominantly in the Jury Room in the order in which they entered the pool…."

Emboldened should be prominently

"…oo if they are currently under a ban, under probation for a ban, or if their posting right have been temporarily suspended in any forum…"

Emboldened should be either rights have or right has . Singular/plural issue? I think technically singular, though we tend to use the plural.

[/end nit-picking] :D

I only do this because it’s no-brain activity and because I’d rather do it in the drafting phase than have it in the Charter.

Imp, thanks. I'll make those corrections right now.

Thank goodness we have so many eyes!

No objections here (to any of it).

I would have tried to sneak a vote in late, but it seems to not want to let me?

Leoba -

Ah! Sorry. It's because I put a two-day limit when I set up the poll and did not reopen the poll itself to avoid confusion.

It's OK though as long as you agreed to the text because it was approved unanimously.

And we have a simple majority of "no objections" so I will consider this issue closed. APPROVED TEXT now shows in the first post.
