Wampuscat - :LMAO:

:D

*purrs at truehobbit's pat* If the front bit of the Griffon was the cat bit, I might have rubbed up against you hand, you know! It gives good comforting pats :D

Melly makes 37. Two votes until we officially have a quorum!

Yov, there are some sensitive issues about the Thinking of England forum that have been discussed in this thread:

http://www.phpbber.com/phpbb/viewtopic. ... um=board77

Now we are collecting votes on the issue. Look at the first post on the first page of this thread for directions on how to vote. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Yov, the outcome of this vote determines what will appear in the B77 charter about Thinking of England—basically the board rules with respect to that forum.

I urge you to read that thread and this one before you vote. There was a lot discussed, and if you have any immediate questions or problems with what's on the ballot, they may well be addressed there, or in the earlier pages of this thread.

And that's our quorum—the vote now officially counts. Thanks, Wilma. :)

However, the vote is not over. The more people vote, the more the results will mean and the better they'll reflect what B77 members want.

So if you're reading this and you haven't voted, please vote! :horse:

If the back bit is the cat bit, with what do you do the purring? :suspicious:
:P ;)
(But I'm glad about the purring! :) )

And of course this is neither spamming, nor thread-hijacking - this is just
encouraging everybody to vote! :D

sh_wulff, there's a lot of discussion in this thread, and you do not have to be a ToE member to vote—this vote is mostly about how ToE relates to the board as a whole, and much of it emerged from discussions that included many ToE members. You have the right to vote on this if you want to. Of course reading the thread up to the point where the vote begins will inform you about what was considered in drawing up the ballot.

You can also have your permissions for ToE turned on if you wish. The requirements on the ballot are for after we open. For now it is only necessary to PM an admin and certify (by saying so) that you are over 18.

And of course, if you don't want to hang out, you can have them turned off after you look. But looking is probably a good idea. :)

Hey, this vote is over, isn't it? I'm dying to see the results! I've got to check the time signature on my post first, though .... the board clock is never what I expect it to be.

Jn

edit: Yup, 'tis already tomorrow at the prime meridian.
