Friends -

At precisely, approximately midnight GMT this very day (June 26, 2005)the lovely and vivacious (and intelligent and compassionate) Alandriel will swing open the doors of board77, changing the permissions of the forums so that for the first time ever our forums will be viewable by the general public. The Rangers (beginning with Prim, and then Hobby) will then activate those people who have registered over the past months but had not been passed through the invitation.

Henceforth (after that) anyone wishing to join this unique experiment in human interaction will be welcomed with open arms (right! :D). Let us show forth our best face, so that the ideals of openness, of fellowship, of equality, and of creativity of expression shine as bright as the stars upon the margin of the world, when at times the clouds about the West are drawn aside.

Forth board77ingas!!!!!11 :horse:

Thanks for maintaining this. With so many stickies in this forum it's great to have this as an overview.

Friends, I have put up all of the polls regarding which forums should be readable by members. The links to each poll are in the first post of this thread. :)

The Invite forum is scheduled for destruction on June 25. :)

At that time all threads in that forum will be permanently deleted. They won't be archived, they'll be completely gone—so people will lose some post count. Be warned. ;)

If you know of a thread there that should not be deleted but archived instead, please PM an admin or post in the one open thread in the Invite forum.

I have, as I'm sure you can see, changed this Global Announcement. Anyone who can't find the last ratification threads at this point, well, sorry. :P

It will be 1 AM in London, 8 PM in New York, 5 PM in Seattle, and some hour or other on Monday morning in the Antipodeal Demesne. (10 AM in Sydney?)

Of course it will be 3 am for me, at which time I'll hopefully be fast asleep :tired: so, I'll jump right in the middle of the chaos tomorrow... :blackeye
