I don't think there is any reason why you really need to wait until the vote is over to insert the clause in the Charter, particularly if it is going to be a scramble for you to have to wait until Saturday. I agree that for all intents and purposes the vote is over, and the result ain't gonna change. But I still think the vote should remain open until we said it would stay open out of general principles. Who knows, maybe someone will come out of the woodworks who really wants to vote on this issue. Just like someone voted at the last second in the vote on Dispute Resolution (or was it Member's Rights?).

Okay Vinny. I'll take your woyd for it. If anyone asks, I'll tell 'em, Vinny said I had to.

(Why does 'Vinny' always inspire me with a Bronx accent? :D and I've never even been to the Bronx! :LMAO: )

Sorry. * Sobers up *

Ever see the movie "My Cousin Vinny"? ;)

I'm not precisely sure how this vote is working...what's the winner at this point?

The second option - 3 months and 100 posts. :)

If you count percentages down from the top it gets 75%

If you count percentages up from the bottom it gets 68%

So either way - it's the clear winner.

Actually, if you use real math rather then the fuzzy math used by the computer, the percentages are 76.087 and 69.565, respectively.

Just sayin'.

Fortunately the Faramonster must approve this, it being indubitable (and mathematically unassailable).

<sets aside treats for the Faramonster>

That's why I suggested the "Vinnie"-spelling - isn't that one of the typical Mafia names? :D
Fitting with the old "consigliere"-title, too! :P

Is the Charter Article page ok then? Art. 6 - Age restricted forum

Please have a look and let me know if the suggested editing would be ok.
Thanks

Alandriel, went and checked:
Quote:
¶3: Eligibility to access the Age Restricted forum
[Eligibility clause in process of ratification, 25June05, 09.30am GMT – threadlink]
A member becomes eligible to access the "Thinking of England" forum after three months and 25/50/100 posts. After this time, a member can request access to the forum from an administrator.
Remove "25/50/" and just leave the 100.

And yes, change posters to members throughout - it's a semantic change.

Thanks Alandriel. :)

Updated. (Art.6

Thanks for crosschecking Impenitent. :) One more favour I need to ask you: the poll in this thread was set without a time-limit, which means - theoretically it could go on forever. Could you copy/paste the results in a seperate post in here (or ammend in the first post if you prefer) and then ask to have the thread locked and moved. Thanks.
