Friends, I have started a thread in the business room asking whether anyone wishes to volunteer to join the committee. I know that some of the committee members have expressed a desire to take a break, particularly if there are others who would be willing to take their place on the committee.

As I said in the other thread, my preference is that people who have been in the committee all along continue with the committee, unless they feel they need a break. New blood is definitely always helpful, but there is no replacement for experience.

I also said that I kind of envision the old committee morphing into the new committee over the course of this week, with the new committee officially constituted by Friday. Then we can gently begin discussing some of these final issues over the weekend, with it probably really beginning in earnest at the start of next week. But we will not be working at the frenetic pace that we were working at before we took a break.

Please let me know, either by posting here, in the thread in the business room, or by PM, whether you wish to remain on the committee. If I don't hear otherwise by Thursday, I will assume that you no longer wish to remain on the committee.

Please count me out. I'm now firmly in my new job and can't pretend to have the time to read so much online.

Thanks to all who have agreed to participate, both now in the past.

If anyone wishes to lead a particular discussion, please let me know. I don't necessarily intend to follow the order listed in the next agenda items thread (but then, I don't necessarily intend not to follow that order either).
