Curious question ... I noticed that Michel Delving is not readable when I'm not logged in. The name appears in the index but when I open it, it takes me to the login page.

Was it our intention to make Michel Delving unreadable, or did that happen by accident as a byproduct of its being in the Outside Forum originally?

Goooood question!

I have no idea! We couldn't vote on it, as it was only just created - I guess it was because we just said all in Outside would be readable to members only.

Didn't we say anything on this when we decided to have the forum?

If not, I think we should have a quick show of hands on whether people think it should be readable.

I can't tell myself, to be honest - waiting to be convinced one way or the other. :D

Re Michel Delving - no real reason to have it be non-readable to the public. When it was in the outside forum that was different because we don't want Hearings and arguments broadcast by the googlebots. But there's nothing secret in Michel Delving.

True, Jny, I can't think of any good reasons to have it invisible either.
On the other hands, it's a bit like forum management - lots of lists and business communication.

There are the form letters and the admin and jury pools, and the thread where the Mayor can contact the Rangers.

LOL, I don't mind either way, I guess.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
On a different matter: ten votes so far - how many are we in the convention right now?
15, I believe.
Regading Michel Delving, I don't see any reason why it should be hidden, which is perhaps the best arguement for not hiding it. Don't think any non-members would be particularly interested in reading it, anyway. ;)
Thanks, Mossy. :)
Re the forum: But then, why was it so obvious for anyone that forum management should not be visible for non-members?
No, nothing, Voronwe - just checked my inbox and the stuff I deleted (luckily I only empty the deleted box very rarely)! :neutral:
I didn't get one, either. The last email I got was about the draft ballot for the election of the Mayor.
