All Registered Members,

If you have comments, questions, suggestions, or just want to say Hi! - please feel free to post here.

Michel Delving has a sort of official look but it is a read-and-write forum for all registered members.

Right now I (Jnyusa) am serving as Honorary, Temporary Mayor to get the forum up and running and to iron out the kinks in our record-keeping system, but there will be elections held in September and then we will have a real Mayor. Watch this forum and the Business Forum for announcements about the nomination process which begins in August.

If you have suggestions about how the B77 should be run you can of course start a thread in the Business Forum, but if you are shy to do that you may also bring your suggestions here. It should be pretty obvious that we are still feeling our way through this transparent democracy, member-moderation experiment. There is no such thing as unwelcome advice.

Jnyusa

Assuming the relevant charter provisions get ratified by the membership, of course. :)

Mais Oui!

Although, we did already ratify to provision to have the office be an elected office, we just have to ratify the time frame.

Mmmmmm .... wine and canapes beneath a mantel bedecked with flowers!

shakes out best tablecloth, sets table with delicate Limoge hors d'oeuvre plates and silver forks, stakes out dibs on chocolate dipped strawberries

Maybe we'd better wheel in a keg and a bucket of buffalo wings too. This place is getting fancy.

Wow - Alandriel's keg has been here a whole day and I haven't tapped it yet!

gets out spigot and mallet, gently taps keg, fills a mug and watches foam spill all over the floor

Let's PAR-TAY!

:toast:

Hey Mayor! Enough with the "serious" forums! Take a break and go here.

You know you want to.

Eru,

I am totally not a picture person, as you know, so you'll have to imagine a big picture of flowers and candy and more champagne of course at the bottom of this post, welcoming you as the new Honorary Temporary Mayor of B77.

:cheers

Eru,

The last seven ratification votes are now complete, and I've got numbers for you to fill into the second post of the Quorum thread.

However, when I looked at that second post I realized that I made a mistake in how I set it up. The last row of numbers that we're going to fill in right now says "Percentage (minus 5%)" But we are not going to take out the five percent at that point.

Could you please erase the line that says: (minus 5%)

Before these numbers can be applied to the next vote, the average has to be calculated and 5% has to be subtracted from that average, so I'm going to give you the numbers now, along with the average and the adjusted average and I'll ask you to just edit that post so that it looks like the following.

All the blue text should remain as it is. What follows here just goes above that. The top line has already been filled in but I'm including it here so that you can see where everything else goes.
